Text: John 2:1-12
Most of us have learned a great deal about life from watching and listening to our mothers, but nowhere in history are a mother's words more important than the words that we read from the mother of Jesus in John 2. The words are not important because of who spoke them or because of the scene that surrounded her. The words were important because of Who they referenced and how they called the people to respond. Today we would all be wise to listen to the message, receive it, and respond in the same way as we see modeled in the text.
