This Is Our God: Jehovah Tsidkenu – The Lord Our Righteousness

Text: Jeremiah 23:5-6, NKJV

Though we live in a culture that conveys that man is inherently good and righteous, the Bible reveals the truth that mankind has no righteousness of our own. Because we have a sinful nature that continually rebels against God, it is impossible for us to achieve righteousness by our own efforts. This reality would lead us to hopelessness and despair if Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord Our Righteousness, hadn’t intervened. God graciously sent His righteous and perfect Son, Jesus Christ, to give His life for us so that through His death and resurrection those who believe in Him will be counted righteous in Christ. Do you know Him? Are you living for Him? We invite you to listen today, believe in Jesus, and be counted among the righteous.

We invite you to listen today to personally discover this refuge for yourself!

This Is Our God: Jehovah Rohi – The Lord My Shepherd

Text: Psalm 23:1-6

The unique name of God discovered in Psalm 23 is Jehovah Rohi – The Lord My Shepherd. The goodness of the Lord, the true Shepherd, is the overarching theme of the entire chapter. With every verse we learn something significant about His care for His sheep. The question is simple, “Do you belong to Jesus? Are you a part of His flock?” If not, you can be today, and if so, are you living confidently and contentedly in His care? This Scripture is one of the most encouraging passages in all the Bible, and we pray that you will be encouraged as you listen today.

Sending Service: Getting the Seed Out of the Barn

Text: Luke 8:1-15, Haggai 2:18-19

As people of God we have been entrusted with the seeds of the Gospel, but in order for there to be a great harvest we must be willing to sow the seed everywhere we go. Unfortunately, we often choose to delay and dismiss our calling, assuming that we will have ample opportunity in the future or perhaps someone else will share instead. This message reminds us that Jesus shows us that the harvest is now and that there is much work to be done. We pray that you are challenged by this message and that the Lord uses it in your life to bring a great harvest for His glory.
