Celebrating 10 Years: Striving Together for the Gospel

Text: Philippians 1:12-14, 18b-27

All throughout the Old Testament, at every major transition in the nation of Israel, God calls His people to three specific actions – Remembrance, Renewal, and Recommitment to His plan. Before God does a great work among His people, He often does the same things even today. He causes us to remember His faithfulness, to repent of our sin and be renewed, and then to get to work doing what He has called us to do. In this message, God calls all believers to remember our primary calling and to fulfill it with joy and perseverance. Be sure to listen today to discover how you, too, can fulfill your calling.

Celebrating 10 Years: First in Embracing Change

Text: Haggai 2:1-9

Have you ever experienced a change in your life that you weren't prepared for? Most people have, and when that change comes it can be hard to put God's will first instead of our own. That was what the Israelites struggled with as they attempted to rebuild Jerusalem in the book of Haggai. Pastor John Welborn, former pastor of Crosslink and now lead pastor at Salem Church, NYC, unpacks how the Israelites 'me first' mentality affected their faith and trust in the Lord. We are called to examine ourselves so that in our own lives we resist the temptation to put our will before God's will as we encounter change.

Celebrating 10 Years: Remember

Text: Psalm 77:11

Most people in our society lead busy lives running here and there and trying to meet the rigorous demands of life. This hustle and bustle can often overwhelm us and distract us from the things that really matter in life. When we get to this state we often become like the people in Malachi 1 who forgot how God had shown His incredible love for them. The cure for Israel is still the cure today - to take the time to remember. Be sure to listen as guest speaker Randy Spencer invites us to pause and remember God's provision throughout history and His blessings at Crosslink over the past 10 years!
