What’s in a name? In our culture today we often give names based on family heritage, personal preferences, or popularity and rarely consider the actual meaning of these names. However, this was not the case in biblical times. The selection of a name was of great importance because of the value placed on its meaning. It may surprise you to find that God has actually revealed Himself through several names throughout the Bible. Each name was used to reveal to man something unique about His character and nature. We invite you to take this journey with us as we grow in knowledge and understanding of who God is so that we might know Him more and live fully for Him.
