Text: Revelation 3:1-6
In our human nature, we all like to be comfortable. We prefer comfort in our wardrobe, social situations, relationships, and commitments, just to name a few. While there is nothing wrong with valuing comfort, there are major problems that come when this mindset impacts our perspective of spiritual things. We can make comfort such an idol in our life that it hinders us in our relationship with Christ and causes us to become stagnant and stale. Like the believers in this message today, it can be easy for us to keep an outward appearance of Christianity, but inside be rotting away because of the subtlety of comfort. We invite you to listen today to be encouraged and challenged.
