Text: Luke 12:13-34
We live in a culture that is constantly promoting “self.” We are encouraged to live for ourselves, be ourselves, make a name for ourselves, and do whatever pleases ourselves. This message of “self” produces all forms of greed in our life. In this passage, Jesus gives a parable to demonstrate how greed works in our lives and how common it is. He also gives the remedy to overcoming this greed so that we might live and give generously for His glory and the good of others. We invite you to listen to this message today so that you may overcome the temptations of greed and faithfully live with great generosity.
