Text: 1 Peter 5:1-5
We live in a 'have it your way' culture where it seems that nearly everything is catered to our likes, preferences, and wants. Cell phone apps, streaming services, fast food restaurants, and many of our modern conveniences help us create a life that is centered around us. Unfortunately, this way of life has also impacted the way that many view the church today. When it comes to the church, is it really about having our way or is it about living God's way? In this second message from the sermon series, we are once again reminded of the call to commit. From both the example of Christ and of His shepherds, God shows us clearly that His will for us is to commit to the local church for His glory and for the good of others.
