Text: Ephesians 6:10-18
There is a spiritual battle that rages all around us. In our daily life we are called to stand firm in the face of this battle. God more than equips us in a very specific way to be able to do this victoriously. However, it requires daily effort on our part and a practice of constant prayer. We must understand that an underlying call of the Christian life is to undertake the battles we face with the knowledge we are already under a victory and strategically and spiritually must undergo putting on the armor of God so that we never underestimate the power of the enemy nor find ourselves unprepared to meet the struggles of life. In this we find ourselves firmly under the authority and protection of Christ where the enemy cannot undo us. The biggest take away of the Armor of God passage is to comprehend our spiritual battle and how we will be ready for it.
