Suffering tempts us to think incorrect things about God because we feel that God owes us a happy, healthy and comfortable life. However, the compassion of Jesus does not mean that we will never suffer. But, it does mean that God is using our suffering for His Glory and our good. This is very important because the Compassion of Jesus is a Matter of Life and Death.
Faith in Jesus is a Matter of Life and Death
Human beings, all of us, are known to overreact to things in this life. We can make the smallest thing a matter of life and death without any justification. However, there are some things that should be taken so seriously that they are considered matters of life and death. There is a great deal riding on how we respond to Jesus, His death and resurrection. To the point that Faith in Jesus is a Matter of Life and Death.
Basic Training 5: Our Objective
