There is a big difference between being a fan of Jesus and a follower of Jesus. One of the major defining qualities of a follower of Jesus is that they are willing to sacrifice for His kingdom. One of the clearest and most obvious ways to sacrifice for the kingdom of God is financial. As we celebrate the halfway point of our Cross-Link LEGACY journey, we pause to consider our sacrificial commitment to the kingdom of God.
Basic Training 4: Boot Camp - Sanctification
The first thing that anybody who enlists in the military must do is go to boot camp. This process is designed to teach the new recruits how to live, act, talk and fight like a member of the US Armed Forces. In a similar fashion, when someone trusts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, He begins to mold them into His likeness. So, the new believer begins to live, act, talk and spiritually fight like Jesus! This spiritual boot camp is called Sanctification and it is the subject of message # 5 in our Basic Training series.

Dishonesty Destroys Relationships! Love has been reduced to a sensational, euphoric, emotional state where the subject supports everything the object of their love is and does. This counterfeit love keeps real relationships from forming because they are dishonest. But, true love, the love that will get you from ME to WE tells the truth on the basis of God’s word.
